The Nordic countries have been successful with high electric vehicle (EV) market penetration as a result of EV policy, citizen base, and renewable energy available in the market. The next challenge will be supporting the EV market as it scales, and to share lessons learned. We will address the latest developments, challenges and opportunities regarding charging infrastructure, policy adoption, and how US utilities and companies can connect with Nordic experts to share ideas.

Eva Sunnerstedt - Project Manager Clean Vehicles and Fuels at Stockholm City Hall
Eva Sunnerstedt is head of unit for the clean vehicles and fuels program within Stockholm, which aims to get rid of fossil fuels by 2040. During 2010-2011 she managed the nationwide procurement of electric cars and vans in Sweden, and has worked on several European projects as a city coordinator since 1998. She has also done work in environmental zoning, goods distribution, logistics, environmental effects. Currently Eva is involved with the establishment of on-street public charging in Stockholm.

Outi Ampuja is an environmental expert who works with transport & environment, electric cars and alternative fuels & power sources of transport sector for the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency.

Dan Bowermaster is the Program Manager for Electric Transportation at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), an independent non-profit center for public interest energy and environmental research. His areas of expertise include electric transportation, plug-in electric vehicles, electric utility PEV readiness, electric utility customer support, natural gas vehicles, and manufacturing.
